May Plotholder Update

Firstly, some dates for your diaries.

On Friday 3rd June from 1.00pm we will have a social event at Humber Avenue to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee. There will be activities for children and a BBQ . Please bring your own drinks etc. Details to follow.

A plant sale has been organised by WAGA for the weekend of 12/13 May. Please donate your surplus plants and all proceeds are for charity. Contact Graham and Liz in the shop.

The minutes of the AGM are available on the website and a copy is in the community room. Thank you to all who were able to attend.

The committee have now received the three reports concerning the old garage, the community room, and we now wish to know from you if a community space is required before we start getting prices for the remedial work to ensure it is a safe and legally compliant space for public use.
At this time all we require is a simple "YES" or "NO", either by email or by talking to any committee member. It is important you have your say as we are here to meet your requirements and if a community room is required it will mean that we either allocate allotment funds or we fundraise externally. Finally, again raised at the AGM, we have a newly vacated plot 88 in very good order that we intend to split into two half plots. We wish to offer them to existing plot holders who want to downsize and relinquish their current plot. These plots are not available as an addition to an existing plot. Seed Swap!
The Humber Avenue seed swap box is located in the community room. Let’s help reduce seed waste by swapping what we don’t need.

Rules:
.The seed swap box must remain in the community room!
.Every time you want to take seeds out the box you must make a seed donation.
.Seeds must be donated in a way that they will not fall out of their packaging (ideally a small envelope).
.Shop bought-Donated seeds do not have to be in original packaging. Seeds must be clearly show the full name and
sow by date that is on the original packaging at a minimum. Please put “Sow by” plus the date clearly on the seeds.
